    REFLECTIONS

    Experience:
This module was incredibly stressful and challenging, especially with the pressure of other 4  core modules. At times, I felt like dropping out from this module because of how chaotic everything was getting. However, Mr. V helped me stay motivated and on track throughout the semester. By the end, I was truly exhausted but I also saw growth in my practical and technical skills. I learned a lot of new things and despite the challenges, this became one of the most rewarding parts of the semester. From proposing ideas and researching various topics to the final execution, I went through multiple breakdowns and many stages of trial and error. Somehow, I managed to complete everything within the given deadlines. There were moments of intense frustration, especially during technical issues like font lag in Illustrator or animation delays. Still, I pushed through. Seeing my progress makes me feel proud, I can see how much I’ve improved, and it has boosted my confidence as a designer. This journey didn’t just teach me new skills, it also taught me resilience, patience and the importance of working on feedbacks.

    Findings:
Through this module, I learned about alot of new things be it from lecture videos, weekly feedbacks, weekly further reading, research work, etc. It got me understand how design can be a powerful way to express culture, identity and personal stories. Working on these assignments allowed me to turn traditions into a modern and meaningful design. I realized that mistakes and rejections were not setbacks, but part of the learning process that helped me grow. Whether it was extracting letterforms, creating animations or designing typeface, each task pushed me to think critically and creatively while managing the time deadlines. I also learned that strong design needs a balance between creativity and discipline, where alignments, consistency and details all play a major role, it is important to document everything properly. This project helped sharpen my creative thinking, storytelling and time management skills.

    Observations:
Throughout the journey, I noticed how important feedbacks, inspiration, patience, experiments  and exploration were in improving my designs. Most of my initial ideas, which I thought were good, turned out average and needed major changes which did improve by the end through weekly feedbacks from my tutor, I was able to develop stronger and more refined work. I also realized how small design elements like patterns, grids, and colors can make major difference and change the complete meaning of the design. Switching between tools like Illustrator and  Photoshop helped me improve the final quality of my work and made the process smoother.
