REFLECTION
In this dubbing project, I learned how to add and edit different sounds in a video. I placed different audio tracks for the character's voices and tried my best to match the video by syncing the voices with the subtitles. I also added few sound effect to make the scene feel more real. One of the most fun parts was using the Pitch Shifter in Adobe Premiere Pro to change the voices from female to male and vise versa. I also learned how to control the volume depending on how strong they need to be. This project helped me understand how sound can change the feeling of a video and made me more confident in editing audio using Premiere Pro.
For the second part of this project, I learned how to shape my self-recorded audio into different environments using Adobe Audition. Each environment had a different sound effect, and I had to adjust the audio accordingly. This activity helped me understand how voice changes based on the surrounding. I learned to use effects like reverb and EQ, it was a fun and creative experience as i got to explore different effect. I learned different new skills in Adobe Audition and figued out how small changes in audio can create big differences in feeling.
