INSTRUCTIONS

TASK

For this assignment, we were asked to submit a character board compilation that included all the necessary design details, personality traits and identity of the character developed in the previous assignments. We were also required to create a final profile page featuring the final splash art.

This is the charcter compilation board:


My new character was designed for the existing series " The Originals ", so I developed the final profile page as a Netflix IP featuring a new season of the series.


REFLECTION
This task helped me bring together all the work I had done earlier and present it in an organized and professional manner. This was one of the easiest and fun part of the module, as i got to see the progress of my character from the rough sketches to the final profile page. It felt so good to see how much the character has refined and the final outcome was so satisfying. Designing the final profile page was both exciting and challenging as i tried alot of trial and errors to make sure the character was clearly highlighted while keeping the layout clean and easy to understand. Choosing what information to include and how to present the splash art improved my layout design skills. Through this assignment, I learned how to present a character professionally and also improved my time management, problem solving, organisation and decision-making skills. Overall, this project helped me understand how character boards and profile pages are used to communicate ideas clearly in entertainment design.
