Invisible Set Extension (Production)

PROCESS WORK

This assignment was a continuation of the previous assignment as in this assignment I produced the digital invisible set extension for the compositions i sketched out in the previous assignment. I generate 6 different set extensions in Photoshop.

REFLECTION

This assignment helped me improve my digital technical skills and taught me how to turn my sketched ideas into finished visuals. This helped me understand how invisible set extensions in Photoshop can make a scene look aesthetically pleasing which also being realistic without building everything new. I learned how to blend different images, match colours and lighting and also edit the overall atmosphere to make it look like a natural environment picture. This improved my understanding of how different tool of photoshop can support storytelling and create interesting atmosphere really quick. This experimentation was really fun to explore. It was really interstice to see how minor of the minor changes changed the overall look of the scene. But in this one of the challenge was making the scene look seamless and natural. Sometimes the perspective, lighting or colours did not match and was getting difficult to match everything together. It also took time to find appropriate pictures for the specific scenes. Overall, this assignment helped me improve my Photoshop skills and taught me the importance of attention to details. This experiment helped me improve my creative thinking, problem solving, time management and technical skills.
