INSTRUCTIONS

REFLECTION

Creating a self-reflection poster that showcased my passion for traveling was a deeply personal yet challenging experience. The process began with collecting self-taken photographs from my travels and merging them into a cohesive composition, requiring careful selection and editing to ensure the images reflected my diverse experiences. Designing the poster allowed me to explore how visual elements could convey my passion for adventure and travelling, but animating it using Adobe After Effects was a whole new challenge. Learning to manipulate layers, apply keyframes, and experiment with transitions and syncing the animation with the mood I wanted to convey presented technical hurdles. Despite these challenges, the process was incredibly rewarding, as it helped me improve my technical skills with After Effects and deepened my understanding of how animation and sound can enhance visual storytelling. Ultimately, this project pushed me creatively, encouraging me to experiment with new techniques and expanding my ability to communicate personal stories through design. This assignment gave me the chance to explore and showcase my individuality through digital art while expressing my personality.
